IBC minutes January, 14, 2026
We met at Salem Church with 12 members present. Paul ran the meeting in absence of Sue. Happy birthday's to Cynthia and Susan Watkins.
Sharon was hostess. Russia joined and Susan Watkins was back.
Ellie Burton, Thelma Duffy and Joyce's brother passed away. Paul reported
$653.03 in treasury. Paul paid for Johnnie's flowers and bought cards and sleeves.
Turn in 2027 awards list by Jan 29. To Kathy
We Signed up for insect mini programs.
I mentioned sending memorial money to National for Johnnie. Paul will check in with national to see where $ needed. After the fact Paul checked, there is a general fund. Her name would be listed in the March Bulletin. It needs to be okayed by members.
Paul had a new idea for handling the raffle by drawing sticks with our names on them. Since people don't listen when their number is called. It worked out good.
Paula had a very informative and interesting program with a slide show on Battersea buttons. She had many great examples. Things I didn't know they made. Others brought some too.
We had show n tell and the raffle and lunch.

Ipls button club December minutes
We had the Christmas party at McAllister,s with 14 present, includes 2 husbands.
Margaret was hostess with goody bags and bought all a McAllister cookie.
Sue wished happy birthday to Sandy and Carol .
Pat brought the new button box bulletin,with show info, but she was sick so she couldn't stay..Paul reported $628.71 in treasury. We made $120 from raffle and will add 80$ to give to Shriners children's Hospital.
Awards for 2027 show needed.
