 IBC minutes August 12

We met at Salem Church with 9 present.  Sue opened the meeting.  Happy Birthday‘s to Danean and Barbara.  Sue had sign-up sheet for picnic next month at her house.
I read minutes from July.  Paul reported $489.39 in treasury.  He has cards and sleeves with more cards to pick-up.  Carol was hostess with carrot cake and bouquet of flowers from their garden.
Paula said she is the rep for MRBA. She is asking for donations to make a State basket for the auction at MRBA ,suggestions a” bug theme”.  Or can give money.  Give to her in September, she also said to make hotel reservations now before deadline.  She is also making dealer goody bags. About 15.  Get a treat or money to her.
Sharon had a preliminary flyer of Indiana show.  Will have the cards soon.
Sharon had program on some entries for MRBA in October and the Indiana show. March 11-13.
We had show n tell and raffle.

We met at Salem church with 10 present.  Margaret led the meeting in Sues absence.
Happy birthday to Dawn.  Paul reported $475.39 in treasury.  Sondra was in the hospital so there was no program.  We had a patriotic show n tell.  Some brought patriotic buttons.  
Carol had bug report on beetles.  She had charts, books and buttons.
Joyce brought her delicious strawberry/pretzel dessert. And goody bags.
We had show n tell and raffle.
