IBC minutes August 12

We met at Salem Church with 9 present.  Sue opened the meeting.  Happy Birthday‘s to Danean and Barbara.  Sue had sign-up sheet for picnic next month at her house.
I read minutes from July.  Paul reported $489.39 in treasury.  He has cards and sleeves with more cards to pick-up.  Carol was hostess with carrot cake and bouquet of flowers from their garden.
Paula said she is the rep for MRBA. She is asking for donations to make a State basket for the auction at MRBA ,suggestions a” bug theme”.  Or can give money.  Give to her in September, she also said to make hotel reservations now before deadline.  She is also making dealer goody bags. About 15.  Get a treat or money to her.
Sharon had a preliminary flyer of Indiana show.  Will have the cards soon.
Sharon had program on some entries for MRBA in October and the Indiana show. March 11-13.

We met at Salem church with 10 present.  Margaret led the meeting in Sues absence.
Happy birthday to Dawn.  Paul reported $475.39 in treasury.  Sondra was in the hospital so there was no program.  We had a patriotic show n tell.  Some brought patriotic buttons.  
Carol had bug report on beetles.  She had charts, books and buttons.
Joyce brought her delicious strawberry/pretzel dessert. And goody bags.

Pat had program on  18th century buttons. She had a slide show on history,  garments, buttons.   Paula had bee talk and buttons

Carol will have beetles in July.

 We met at Salem Church with 13 present.    Happy Birthday to Paul Thomas.  Thanks to Barbara our hostess.  Paul reported $427.39 in treasury.  He has cards and sleeves for sale.  Paula needs to submit entries for MERBA 2027.  Theme is steels, has suggestions of bridges and buildings.

A motion was made and passed to continue to meet at Salem church for rest of year. 

Paul had informative and interesting program on aritas .  He had a lot of beautiful buttons.

Ipls button club December minutes
We had the Christmas party at McAllister,s with 14 present, includes 2 husbands.
Margaret was hostess with goody bags and bought all a McAllister cookie.
Sue wished happy birthday to Sandy and Carol .  
Pat brought the new button box bulletin,with show info, but she was sick so she couldn't stay..Paul reported $628.71 in treasury.  We made $120 from raffle and will add 80$ to give to Shriners children's Hospital.
Awards for 2027 show needed.

IBC November 12 minutes
We met at Salem Methodist Church with 12 present.
Sue wished happy birthday to Paula, Kathy and Sharon.
$606.71 reported in treasury by Paul. He ordered flowers for Johnnie.(they were beautiful).
There was discussion on State business. IBC is in charge of raffle.
There was a motion to meet at church for next 6 months. Then revisit the motion.
Sign up sheet for next year passed by Sharon. Pat, Suggested have a bug of the month show n tell. Each person has different bug button and tells about it.
Sharon had informative program on full moons that coincides with award #9 for 26. Show. She had many examples.
In Margaret's absense Sue reported the Christmas party will be at McAllister's. On 86th across street from keystone at the crossing. 8487 Union Chapel road. Indianapolis 46240. RSVP to Margaret. Bring raffles prizes, button exchange, if want to participate. We had show n tell and raffle.

The Club met at the Shrine club, downtown with 14 present.  Sue opened meeting wishing Happy birthdays to Sue, Linda and Ruth.  Thanks to Dawn as hostess, with a Halloween theme.  
Paul reported $549.71 in treasury.  Paula had info cards for Indiana spring 26 show.
Sue had cards on domestic violence and breast cancer awareness month.
Pat had an Informative program on overall buttons.  She had slides and buttons.  
The November meeting is at Salem Methodist Church, 6701 S 775 E .  Zionsville

Johnnie Campbell passed away on October 11.  Service is November 15 at Leppert mortuary  Carmel . 1-2pm  visitation with service at 2pm.

We met at church with 15 present, one guest, Russa. Sue opened meeting. Happy Birthday to Sue Hudson.
Thanks to CHEF Paul, our hostess, for providing a delicious picnic lunch. And decorations.
Paul reported $493.30 in treasury. He bought new card stock.
No old business
National Show June deadline to sign up for volunteers hotel room etc. If you have donations for national bring to July meeting for Paul to take.
Paula had the program on Celebration of summer. She had slides and buttons of many hobbies and events during summer.

Minutes May 14

We met at Union Chapel with 14 present.

Thanks to Sondra our hostess with desserts and candy.

National has a new website.

Pat needs articles for Button Box.

Carol had an informative program on birds nest.  She had lots of pictures, handouts and button examples.

IBC minutes February 12, 2025

The club met at Union chapel with 13 present. No birthdays.
Kathy had shoulder surgery. And Dawn in heart hospital.
Sue opened the meeting.
Paul reported $793.24 in treasury. He looked for a deal on sleeves and will get 300 for $285 from Lisa Schultz. Voted for by members.
Paula reminded us to pay for state dues $20. Volunteer signup on google.
Friday night games. Paula needs Indiana basket items by March 1. For show raffle. Call her.
Thanks to Sue N. our hostess. She brought festive valentine treats. And crocheted hearts.
Sue n had the program on swan buttons, she had many examples and info.
National president, Vicky mctavish's husband passed away.
We ate had show n tell and the raffle.

April 9 next meeting at Union chapel 11am

9 members and one guest met at Union chapel. Due to snow earlier in week, attendance was down.

$150 sent to Sheltering Wings shelter, Paul received thank you card.
Sharon passed the 2026 preliminary awards list. Theme is "Life liberty and pursuit of buttons. Sharon passed out new Club calendar.
There was a State board meeting. NBS has new web site designer.
Sharon had the program on imitation fabric. She had many examples. It will be an 2026 IN award and national award.
WRBA.US is disbanding, site will be free until ends. Lots of good information. New site worldbuttonasscociation.org. Have to be member $15
February 12 meeting we will have a valentines button card exchange. Sue has program on swans and hostess. At the Church. 11am bring lunch.
