Nina led the meeting in absence of Sue. She wished Marsha and Dawn, Happy Birthdays

New business, Indiana awards list finalized will be on web site tomorrow.(July 13)
MRBA needs 2 for registration table. 125 items for goodie bags, Sharon and Rich working on bookmarks.
Nina had informative program on what she has learned from dealers and those helpful in collecting.
Bring shirt in August if want stamped with buttonholic definition.
We ate had show n tell and raffle.

The club met at Union Chapel with 12 present.
Nina opened the meeting wishing Sue H happy birthday.
Thanks to Paul and Paula for hostessing with pie, cake, cookies and red white and blue candies. Flag button and fan.
Some awards for 2024 show are being changed.
Paul reported $530.44 in treasury. I read minutes fron May.
Paula have a very informative and interesting program on flag day which was today, June 14. She had buttons and info from flags to cowboys to baseball and prohibition, and apple pie. Etc.

We met at Union Chapel with 12 present and one guest, Dawn W. and Five
Sue opened the meeting wishing Paul T Happy Birthday.
Thanks to Barbara our hostess who brought desserts and goodie bags.
Paula reported $492.44 in treasury.
Margaret gave the program on entering buttons etc in the State Fair. Enter by July 1.
Go to www.Indianastatefair.com , competitions, Indiana arts. Find the open entry book for Indiana Arts and read the general terms and conditions before entering.
New business: MRBA is October 12-14 in normal, Illinois. Sharon L is looking for button related donations for the raffle and or auction. The theme is Pearls and Gems. They are asking we have pearls added to clothing, etc. Nina will loan her pearl cards to be on display.
There is a SCHEDULE CHANGE for the picnic, which will now be in September. June will be Paula and Paul with red, white and blue program, July is Nina, what she's learned about buttons from dealers. August the same as in program book.

Sharon and Joyce had a program on synthetic polymers and different techniques.
Sharon had many examples on cards.
Pat is wanting to borrow unusual rabbit buttons for the story of great rabbits in literature. For State show.
