Indianapolis Button Club minutes. Nov. 8
We met at Union Chapel with 11 present. One guest Peggy Griffith whom Joyce met at Joann's, thanks to Pat and Sue H. hostess.
I had treasures report of $599.94. And minutes from August. The picnic was in September and MRBA in October.
Paul is President of MRBA.
Report on some not there. Margaret fell and broke her tail bone and back. Sharon had surgery on her back, but showed up for a while and gave report. Sondra was sick.
No old business,
Pat gave the program she gave at State meeting on rabbits
The Christmas party is December 13 at 11 at Bruburger bar, 2499 Perry Crossing Way suite 178 in Plainfield. Let Sue know if going she needs a count.
If you want to participate in button exchange bring card with button. And/or a $5 button to play a game. Order off menu. Bring extra raffle items.
We had show n tell and raffle.

Indianapolis Button Club minutes August 9, 23


We met at Union chapel with 14 present.  Sue opened meeting wishing me and Danean

Happy birthdays.  And reports on those not here.  

Thanks to Carol, our hostess for the delicious cake and candies 

Paul reported $579.94 In Treasury .  Minutes read from July.

Sharon had the bookmarks she made, strings and pearls will be added.  It was decided to make up a card of pearl buckles for the MRBA show.  Bring them to the September picnic..raffle items also needed..  website open for registration.

Paula will now be the new Indiana representative for MRBA. 

Picnic signup passed around, bring salad or dessert, September 13th at Sues.

Sharon B. Had an informative program on Kate Greenway buttons and books.  With several examples.

We had lunch, show n tell and raffle.

Indianapolis Button Club minutes July 12

11 met at Union chapel. Thanks for the goodies from Nina, our hostess.
Nina led the meeting in absence of Sue. She wished Marsha and Dawn, Happy Birthdays
Paula reported $552.94 in treasury. I read minutes from June
New business, Indiana awards list finalized will be on web site tomorrow.(July 13)
MRBA needs 2 for registration table. 125 items for goodie bags, Sharon and Rich working on bookmarks.
Nina had informative program on what she has learned from dealers and those helpful in collecting.
Bring shirt in August if want stamped with buttonholic definition.
We ate had show n tell and raffle.

IBC minutes June 14


The club met at Union Chapel with 12 present.

Nina opened the meeting wishing Sue H happy birthday.

Thanks to Paul and Paula for hostessing with pie, cake, cookies and red white and blue candies. Flag button and fan.

Some awards for 2024 show are being changed.

Paul reported $530.44 in treasury.  I read minutes fron May.

Paula have a very informative and interesting program on flag day which was today, June 14.  She had buttons and info from flags to cowboys to baseball and prohibition, and apple pie. Etc.  

we had show n tell the raffle and lunch.

IBC minutes. May 10, 2023
We met at Union Chapel with 12 present and one guest, Dawn W. and Five
Sue opened the meeting wishing Paul T Happy Birthday.
Thanks to Barbara our hostess who brought desserts and goodie bags.
Paula reported $492.44 in treasury.
Margaret gave the program on entering buttons etc in the State Fair. Enter by July 1.
Go to www.Indianastatefair.com , competitions, Indiana arts. Find the open entry book for Indiana Arts and read the general terms and conditions before entering.
New business: MRBA is October 12-14 in normal, Illinois. Sharon L is looking for button related donations for the raffle and or auction. The theme is Pearls and Gems. They are asking we have pearls added to clothing, etc. Nina will loan her pearl cards to be on display.
There is a SCHEDULE CHANGE for the picnic, which will now be in September. June will be Paula and Paul with red, white and blue program, July is Nina, what she's learned about buttons from dealers. August the same as in program book.
We had show n tell and raffle.

Indianapolis Button club

April minutes
We met at Union Chapel with 15 present. Thanks to both Sondra and Joyce who brought a double dose of delicious desert and goodies.
No birthdays in April. Paula reported We have $475.44 in treasury.

The 2024 show will be in Nashville. The Award list is out and close to being final.
There was a nice coverage of our show in the local Middlebury paper. We had a successful show and the dealers were happy.
Sharon L had an informative program on pewter buttons. She did lots of research and had slides and examples.
We had show n tell and the raffle.

Next meeting May 10. Bring your lunch and drink. 11am lower level of Union Chapel Church 86th and Haverstick. Margaret program on entering State Fair and I will be hostess. Guest welcome!

Indianapolis Button Club minutes

December 14, 2022
We met at Union Chapel for our Christmas party. There were 11 present.
Sharon L was hostess. She had catered Christmas casserole, spinach salad and rolls.
Members brought desserts.
Paula reported. $559.27 in treasury.
We had the big Christmas raffle and decided to give our monies to
Cathedral soup kitchen at 16th and Penn.

January 11, 2023 program will be to bring work cards on ovals, Alice and enamels.
