July minutes IBC

The Club met at Union Chapel with 13 present.  Sue opened meeting wishing happy birthday's to Marsha and Dawn.  Thanks to Joyce our hostess, bringing her yummy strawberry dessert.
Paul reported $832.37 in treasury.  He bought flowers for Nina who passed away suddenly on June 22.  She and her kind soul, and button knowledge will be dearly missed.  
Sue told us some weirdest laws in US.  
Sharon said the final award list is out.
Pat had the program on award #1, pictorials representing names of rock bands. She had list of rock bands from 1950's to 2020's.  And slide presentation with button ideas.  Very helpful.
We had show n tell, the raffle and lunch.

We met at Union Chapel with 13 present.
Paul opened meeting in absences of Sue and Nina.
Wished Happy Birthday to Joyce and Pat.
We had guest Bill Bremer, who has his grandmothers collection wishing to sell some.
She collected in 40s had button shop in Cleveland.  
Treasurers report $763.37  
No old business.
New bus. # 19 award for '25 is removed.  State website renewed for $23.17.
Dawn is new State secretary.

We showed and discussed our trays from show .

15 of us met at Union chapel.  Sue wished Sharon Bailey happy birthday.
Paul reported $730.37 in treasury.  I read January minutes.
New business,  state,  needs someone to write a proposal for publicity grant.
Make your reservations for breakfast, bring raffle items for table.  2025 awards are out. Subject to change, lol. Look for award 6, honoring Johnnie.
Johnnie was the hostess with candy treats and dessert.  
Carol had the program on Penguins.  Very informative with lots of information and pictures of the different kinds of  penguins.   And penguin buttons.  Look for the movie "March of the Penguin's "

Indianapolis Button Club minutes December 13
The Christmas party was held at BruBurger, Plainfield. Sue and Pat hostess.
There were 15 members and 2 husbands present.
It was announced that Paul is on National board. He is also president of MRBA, and Paula is Indiana representative
Sharon has changes for 2024 Show entries she will send out changes.
We voted to give Salvation Army our donation for this year2023.
I think 60$ was recd from raffle. Upped to $100 plus 30$ donation. 130 total.
2025 show theme will have a Fifties theme
