Thanks to Nancy our hostess.. She reported $624.35 in treasury.
I read minutes from July.
Margaret brought up that we need to decide what to do about making the Indianapolis club a State meeting. So we can conduct State business. We have 41 members that live in Indiana. We would need a quorum(15% of active members) to do so. To get more members and more attendance at State Show we need more advertising. We talked about getting more volunteers for Show and for officers. We now need a State treasurer before next March. Think about helping your State club. Sue tabled the discussion until next meeting.
The Sept meeting is at Brian's studio in Southport. Bring a sack lunch.
The October meeting we are to have our decorated cards done that Sharon gave us.
Sharon and Sue had the program on competition cards and what goes on from check-in to judging and display. Good information to know. Everyone that enters in 2013 will be expected to volunteer at some location.
Barbara got a first and sweepstakes over collections on her antique button cows at the State Fair. I just couldn't leave this out.
We ate had show-n-tell and raffle.
