Indianapolis Button Club minutes Jan. 11, 2014
The Club met at MCL on Saturday due to snow and cold and bad roads on Wednesday. 12 were present. Sue opened the meeting. She reported that Beth is in hospice. Update on Beth, she passed on Jan. 12 services at Conkle Funeral Home, Avon, Jan 16 visitation 4-8p service on 17th at 11:30a.
Sharon passed out the new program books. Thanks Sharon.
Margaret reported that she sent $100 to Sharing the Season a United Way Service. We made 63$ on Dec. Raffle, the Club added 37$. She collected $80 in dues. There is now $703.63 in treasury.
Sondra reported on show business: she has 47 tables sold with 16 dealers.
Sue had the program on snowmen buttons. She had many cards and passed out snowmen favors.

IBC December 7, 2013
18 of us met at Goodys in Plainfield for our Christmas party hosted by Nina. Paula had the slate of officers: Sue Nadin president, Nina Olvey Vice-president, Margaret Schaller treasurer , Barbara Lyons secretary. All nominations stand. Pay dues of $5 to Margaret. We made $63 from raffle will be rounded off to 100$ and given to the United Christmas Services for kids. Bill had update on Beth, she is not eating and kidneys are failing she has hospice few days a week.

Indianapolis Button Club Minutes Nov 13, 2013
The Club met at MCL with 13 present. Sue opened meeting wishing Happy Birthdays. Beth is still in Danvillle Rehabilitation Center by hospital, we signed a card for her. Jan is having trouble with her feet, Susie and Bob not traveling, may have to go into assisted living. Pat C had surgery on knee. Betty and Peggy were to be hostess and program did not attend. Russa brought buttons to sell so she was our program. Margaret reported $656.63 in treasury. It was voted there will not be membership cards. We discussed Show business, limiting the number of dealers, publicity can put in Bead and Button magazine for free Craig's list, Face book Margaret is in charge of publicity, more discussion followed.Deann said she gave a button program to 15 people at the Speedway Library. Paula and Deann are the nominating committee for new officers. Sue appointed Margaret, Carol and Johnnie committee to see who to give our Christmas donation to this year.
Nina had info about Christmas party Dec 7 at Goodys in Plainfield. Bring exchange button and gifts for raffle (monies to be donated to charity) RSVP to Nina.
I handed out the new Button Box.

October 9, 2013 IBC Minutes
The Club met at MCL with 16 present. Thanks to Margaret, our hostess. Sue opened the meeting. Beth Kern has been in and out of hospital, is weak.
I read minutes from September. Margaret reported $644.33 in treasury, Margaret requested to change Banks, one closer to her. It was approved.
She will move from PC to BMO with free account. Margaret wants us to call her if you want her to bring the cards and sleeves, they are heavy to carry.
Nina reported that the Christmas party will be Saturday December 7. At Goody's restaurant in Plainfield. Margaret had the program on Holidays.

The Club met at MCL with 20 present. Thanks to Carol our hostess. Sharon had the program on colored glass worksheet. Most of us did the worksheet. Sue had a game about the cards and gave a grey moon glow to winner.
Margaret had more cards she got from The Great Frame Up where Nancy had gotten them, they will be 50 cents each. Sharon had some which she got for free , money will go to Club.
Margaret reported $621.12 in treasury. She said to call her ahead of time to get cards and sleeves as they are heavy to lug around.

National dues are due by Oct 31.
Cynthia, Paula and Deann told about experience at National. Paula had several favor buttons.

INDIANAPOLIS BUTTON CLUB MINUTES AUGUST, 14, 2013
THE CLUB MET AT MCL CASTLETON WITH 12 PRESENT. THANKS TO PAT C AND SUE H FOR BEING HOSTESSES. SUE OPENED THE MEETING WISHING HAPPY BIRTHDAYS TO BARBARA, AND SUSIE.
THOSE NOT PRESENT: DEANN, PAULA AND CYNTHIA AT NATIONAL, SUSIE AND BOB DON'T DRIVE FAR.AND BETH DOESNT FEEL LIKE COMING BUT SENDS HER LOVE. NO NEWS ON OTHERS.

I READ MINUTES FROM JUNE. WE HAD A FUN PICNIC AT SUES IN JULY.

SANDY HAS THE SHEETS FOR NEW COLLECTORS, HAS GUIDELINES TO FOLLOW. WILL GIVE TO NEW MEMBERS. WE DISCUSSED THE HOURS AND WHEN TO JUDGE FOR NEXT YEARS SHOW. THEY WILL NOT BE THE SAME AS THIS YEAR. THIS WILL BE DISCUSSED FURTHER BETWEEN SHARON, SUE AND SANDY. SANDY WILL CHECK ON MEAL PRICES AND DECIDE WHETHER TO HAVE BREAKFAST OR DINNER OR SOMETHING ELSE.
WE ALL BROUGHT SHOW AND TELL FOR THE PROGRAM, SHOWING NEW BUTTONS WE HAD BOUGHT. BECKY COULD NOT DO THE PROGRAM ON CATS, HER HUSBAND PASSED AWAY RECENTLY.

Indianapolis Button Club Minutes June 12, 2013
The Club met at MCL with 16 members (new member Janet Boeldt)and one guest.(Ruth, Paula's granddaughter). I welcomed all and said happy birthdays to Sue H, Sheila and Jan. Thanks to me as hostess, president, vp, sec-treas. I passed out button candy and button bookmarks, I made.
I reported $511 in treasury. Margaret had put the favor buttons on eBay at 9.99 and then 4.99 but did not sell any. I returned them to Sondra. I collected 5 more dues.
I read minutes from May.
Carol has volunteered to be hostess in September, Pat C will find the worksheet on assorted materials. Or if anyone has one bring to picnic.
In Sue's absence, Nina passed out directions to picnic. RSVP to Sue if going.
Pat Ward and Johnnie had the program on Brooks buttons. They had many examples and pics..
