Indianapolis Button Club Dec 13
We met in fellowship hall at
church with a Christmas pitch-in. Sharon L.
was hostess, she brought ham, table service, had games
with a button punch board, and candy bags. Present were 14
We had a great variety of good
food. We had the button exchange and
secret sister exchange.
And the Christmas raffle. Mary, a
friend of Pat Wards came
to sell what was left of Pats buttons as she is in
assisted living at The Forum now. Pay dues of 5$ to
Margaret. Sign up for hostess and program for 2018.

The Club met at Union Chapel with 9 present. I opened the meeting in the absence of Sue and Nina. Happy Birthdays wished to Sharon , Paula, Pat Ward and Kathy.
The Christmas party will be December 13 at the Church, lower level. Bring a dish to share and button exchange if want to participate. Bring extra raffle gifts as this is our fund raiser for charity. Sharon is hostess.
Joyce had the program making a button pendant. She had most of it done. Thank you Joyce for your extra work and patience.
At a later note I heard from Pat Wards friend that Pat is now in assisted living. Mary is wanting to sell the rest of Pats buttons. Mary will be at the December 13 meeting selling these buttons. Weather permitting.

INDIANAPOLIS BUTTON CLUB MINUTES OCTOBER 11, 2017
We met at Church with 14 present. Thanks to Carol our hostess and program on Bakelite. There were many fabulous cards of Bakelite.
I read minutes from September and Margaret reported $630 in treasury.
Wabash Valley Club meets October 26 at MCL Terre haute. Program on Victorian celluloid. 11a
Ellie passed out cards for the "secret button Christmas sister". Hand in cards in November. If want to participate. Will exchange $10 button in December
Monday, Ellie and Pat are looking at show hotel again. The rooms are Quality Inn. With continental breakfast. Different from convention rooms. No food service. There is a block of rooms across street at Crown Plaza $10 more and no breakfast, but better rooms. Make reservations soon to get price. More info in button box.
Nov 1 is show meeting at rusty bucket 11:30am.
2019 show theme is "Buttons in Bloom" per Pat.
Happy Birthdays to Linda and Sue. Oct 21 "Count your buttons day". Who did this? Not me.

IBC minutes August 2
The meeting was held week early due to National at the Church. Margaret filled in as sec until I got here.
There were 10 members and 2 guest(Gretchen and Larkin) present.
Ellie furnished lunch, roll ups ,melon, chips, strawberry cake. Sue Hudson brought popcorn bags with button attached.
The show meeting is Wednesday August 8, 11:30 at Rusty Bucket.
Pat Cooper had the program on bridal rosettes.
Next meeting at the Church Sept 13 ,11am . Nina has program. Bring your lunch and drink.

Indianapolis Button Club Minutes July 2017
We met at the Church with 14 present. One guest Carolyn Boes from Colorado Springs. Margaret was hostess she brought salad and dessert.
Sue and Nina were absent so I opened the meeting. Happy Birthday to Marsha. Cynthia is having lumpectomy today.
There is a button meeting in Terre Haute on July 20 at 11am at MCL cafeteria .
Margaret reported $861 in treasury. She will order sleeves. Be sure to call her if need sleeves or cards, so she can bring to meeting.
New business: Marsha asked for those going to national to write about it for button box.
Suggested an award put in national for Deann and Jan.
Margaret will do write up on Jan Stimson for button box and Marsha will contact Paula to do one for Deann.
Pat Cooper said there will be no discussion about Show business at Ipls club anymore. Takes up too much time. There will be meetings on the first Wednesday of month. Will meet August 2nd at 11:30a at restaurant to be announced.
Marsha had the program on Colt buttons. Very informative with lots of examples and discussion.
Next meet August 2nd 11am at Union Chapel Church. Bring your lunch. Program by Pat Cooper. meeting changed to first Wed. this month due to several going to National. and the show meeting will be later.

IBC June Picnic
We met at Sue's for the picnic. We had good food and a good time. Several sold buttons. we had a guest and button collector Sharon that moved to Terre Haute from Arizona.
We had a short meeting. Cynthia has reduced the loss of show to$17.48. The 2018 show will be at the Lexington(was Radisson. Can bring in own food. as they don't have a food service. Some discussion about raffle and ways n means. How to make $.
Marsha is collecting craft buttons we dont want, to give to Bona Vista an adult workshop in Kokomo.
The July meeting will be back at Union Chapel Church at 11a. Margaret is hostess and Marsha has the program on colt buttons. Marsha passed out the new Button Box.
